It's a question I keep coming back to, especially when I think I'm having the worst day.
Were the nails and the spear in My sideNot quite enough to provideThe victory you need in your life? -Jill Pacquette, Come to Me
No matter what you are going through, whatever pain you are feeling, what mountain is in your way or who your adversaries are, you have victory if you have a life surrendered to Jesus. The victory may not look like you expect, it's really better than you can imagine.
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57
With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies. Psalm 60:12
What more could He have done? His sacrifice - I'd say it's more than enough.
Great post - kinda wish i had read it on friday... depending on when i read it, of course...
ReplyDeleteFriday was one of those days - much prayer was required for me to make it through the day without just throwing up my arms...
truck problems, deadlines, slow internet, and dilated eyes to name some of the issues...
but, I was amazed that He provided me with patience and success... of course the success all depends on your view i guess... 1 deadline was handled the other - well the project has been "rewritten" and today it's going quite well...
more important then work - the reactions i was blessed with by people... it was commented a couple of times: "normally people are angry" but His patience pulled through... like i said much prayer was required...
the day ended with a great double date...
He is good and if we jump into His arms instead of trying to carry ourselves through it will be good...
